Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a small community in East Los Angeles and they're some of the most resilient individuals I have ever met. They love to learn and engage in fun new activities at school with their fellow classmates. This group of scholars is truly inspiring and special.

My Project

These materials I chose like the ball storage will help keep our equipment safe and protected so that the equipment we have will last longer. The speaker is going to allow us to play the Fitnessgram pacer test outside in the parking lot and ensure that it is loud enough for all of our students to hear. The clock/timer will help us know what time it is outside so that we can ensure smooth transitions for our scholars. The kids could really use some new basketballs as well they always get so excited when we receive fresh equipment.

We are a small school in East Los Angeles with little space to have a Physical Education class.

these items will help us ensure a fun and safe learning environment for our scholars for years to come.
