My Project

A diverse glaze palette and specialized tools can broaden students' creative possibilities, encouraging experimentation and innovation. Utilizing various tools and techniques helps students master different ceramics processes such as surface texture and glaze application, fostering a deeper understanding of ceramics and enhancing students' tactile awareness. Exploring a wide range of colors and textures through different glazes and tools helps students develop their visual literacy, enabling them to communicate ideas and emotions more effectively.

Some of the goals for this project include students observing and interpreting natural forms, textures, and patterns to inspire their ceramic designs, applying various ceramics handbuilding techniques, and using natural imagery to explore symbolism through nature..
