Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Environmental Pioneers Learning the Way of Green Technology in the Classroom! In this low income school we don't often get a chance to have hands-on science materials. We are hoping that with these kits we can have a chance to create solar and wind power for our school. We are greening our school, and to be able to demonstrate the possibilities of green technology would be awesome. We did not have a garden until funders decided to help us get a Growlab and shovels. Now our school community is interested in "greening" the school and what that looks like. These electricity kits are the beginning of more than one classrooms concern for the planet and their community.

We have had a chance to learn about greening our school with a garden this year! Now we would like to adventure into the land of green energy. We want to talk about how we can use less energy and make energy naturally without putting carbon into the air.

With these different hands-on kits for learning about Solar and Wind electricity the kids will have a chance to see their questions answered. We are hoping to have more hands-on science curriculum and these resources requested will point us in the right direction.

You will make it possible to have students create the world and community we want to live in--a sustainable one. We have already been very successful with our donated garden materials. Now we have questions regarding "green energy" and you can help us! Join with other donors who this year witnessed what a great difference we are making in our local and global community!
