This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

All of my students have special needs.

They are in an inclusive classroom, 100% of the time, growing, and thriving each day. My students have challenges when it comes to communication, daily tasks, and physical abilities, but this does not stop them from learning and discovering new things at school each day. The books, seeds, and fertilizer will allow them to be hands on with growing their own garden and learning about the earth and what they can do to help. The sand and bee sensory items will help with their social emotional and fine motor skills while also learning about the bees and how they are vital to our existence.
