Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Students will use project-based learning to examine the economic concepts of scarcity, the environment, and the economic consequences of human choices by creating presentations that will be engaging, informative, and interactive.
To celebrate Earth Day, the economics students will display their presentations at an Earth Day Fair event to inform the public about the economic and environmental consequences of water scarcity, the use of plastic, e-waste, and carbon emissions.
Each display will be hand-constructed by a team of students and will include informational text, pictures, diagrams, maps, and an interactive component that can be manipulated by the viewer to increase engagement.
