My Project

Dear Donor,

Thank you for all you do to support our students and families!

This school year, in Melanin Poppin' Girls Literacy Group we launched the Melanin Bucks Financial Literacy Project to teach students the value of budgeting, saving, and spending wisely. Through this reward system, students earn “Melanin Bucks” and use them to purchase small incentives, making financial lessons fun and engaging.

We are seeking your support to provide these incentives items like school supplies, puzzles, snacks, sensory items, and small toys—which will motivate students and bring the project to life. Your contribution would directly impact their learning, helping create essential financial skills in a meaningful way.
