My Project

My students are all English Language Learners. Many are behind in reading and writing because they are still learning English. These books will help my ELL students participate with their English peers in doing the same research but at their level.

These books will help my students be successful in rigorous research reading and writing because they will be able to read and understand the information about a specific animal in order to write a informative report.

I only have a few early reader books, and the students would like to have more at their levels to read. Students love learning about animals! It sparks their interest and keeps them engaged. It will also give them more options to read new books, and a variety of books, versus only reading the same ones over and over again.
