Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are 3 years old and in school for the first time! I want them to be exposed to real-world experiences inside the classroom and have new materials that will help them grow in all developmental areas. My students need to be exposed to hands-on materials that will engage them in a love for learning and at the same time develop their fine and gross motor skills.

Students are motivated to explore when they see themselves learning through play in all of the developmental areas!

Having a photo printer that I can easily access to print photos of them putting together puzzles and exploring classroom materials will be beneficial to them. My students get so excited when they see pictures of themselves dressed as doctors, chefs, cashiers, and firefighters, and see themselves building towers. I will be able to use this printer to easily show students how much they have grown throughout the year. Also please help my students develop their fine motor skills by connecting train tracks, building landmarks by using interlocking sticks, and lacing giant beads. My student can also develop their fine motor skills by practicing cutting tape to create projects and holding a pencil by using letters and number stencils.
