My Students

I want my students to be successful in every aspect of their lives. I especially want them to be able to express themselves appropriately. In order to express themselves my students need to learn the basic components of written and oral expression. With generous donations these resources will help.

My students are very active and enjoy communicating with one another.

But they need assistance with communicating appropriately with each other. Our class is located in a low-income neighborhood. We have very limited amount of funding. Therefore we lack many resources in our classroom. My students work best with visuals and hands-on activities. I would like to provide them with as many resources as possible to help enhance their language, vocabulary and communication skills.

My Project

My students will use these resources to enhance their language, reading and mathematics skills. My students will use the alphabet bingo as a fun way to learn and identify their letters. Using games and hands-on activities is beneficial for my students learning. My students will use the picture comprehension stories to encourage conversation and understanding of what they are seeing. The sentence starters provide my students with writing prompts and opportunities to explore new ideas. My students will benefit from the math ball throw by allowing them to put themselves into the math equation. Having students throw the balls to create math problems allows them to get involved into their work. Math is no longer just numbers on a paper. It is an activity they can get their hands on and become involved in.

Generous donations to this project will improve our classroom immensely.

We would be given the opportunity to access of many resources that will hugely impact our learning. These resources will allow students to continue to grow and become successful with their language, reading and mathematics skills. Every donation would be beneficial for my students' learning needs.
