Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Providing our students with a class set of headphones will allow our students to hear books and complete interactive reading and math activities without the distraction of other computers.

Imagine trying to listen to a story and answer questions while hearing 32 other computers reading other stories to other peers.

Trying to utilize the new programs have been such a challenge because our students do not have their own headphones.

We are a title one school servicing newcomer students. Many of our students have never seen computers before. When they were given access to learn interactively they were beyond thrilled but the challenge is the noise.

Since they are not provided with headphones and parents cannot afford headphones, we as teachers have been trying our best to buy them for the class. We simply can't keep up and do not want to loose the engagement.

Please help us provide our students with their own headphones so that they can learn without distractions.
