My Students

I am a Physical Education teacher in a suburban school in Indianapolis. It is a pre-k through 8th grade school. The students at my school are very diverse. They do not have many opportunities to learn or play sports outside of school. Students are not able to afford certain equipment that is necessary to play different team sports at our school. Our school also does not have the best equipment for games that are played at our school as well as training equipment.

My students have really enjoyed every opportunity playing different sports this school year.

I want to help enhance their interest and their skills in these sports with some better equipment. This will give them a better chance to play for sports teams when they reach the high school level. I have several basketball players 5th grade and up that want to improve on their basketball skills. Our school needs more equipment for practice and for games.
