E-Sports for All

My Students

My students are top-notch, motivated, and always looking to satisfy their curiosity. They are given amazing opportunities to use technology to achieve and to learn more about the world around them. Students come from all around the area to attend our charter school that specializes in Technology and the Performing Arts. About a third of our students come from economically disadvantaged families. They are being prepared for a technological world and always rise to the challenges given them.

My Project

The Nintendo Switches will provide opportunities to participate in E-sports through the PlayVS program. E-sports is like any other sports program where students must dedicate themselves and work as a team. They must maintain good grades and be exemplary in their behaviors. They are taught sportsmanship, critical thinking, problem-solving, and so much more.

The provided materials will also provide extra motivation and incentives to go beyond just submitting assignments.

In class, students will be able to earn play time if they have all assignments submitted and maintain a B or better grade.
