My Project

This request is specifically for my 11th-grade ELA class. This one class is a perfect representation of our diverse world with students from lower socio-economic status homes, native students, students with college-level reading abilities, students with 6th-grade reading abilities, students who love to read, and students who hate it. Our school is small and remote and therefore class sets of books are dated back to the 1940s, with limited resources for updates. In a desperate desire to spark engagement and excitement, I am asking for help in providing modern novels that are about current events and topics to foster learning for all students within the class.

Thank you for making our small school feel big by opening up the doors for learning.
