I teach 6 - 12 grade band. The county is very poor and the school is located away from any city. It is very hard to raise funds. 75% of the high school receives reduced or free lunches.

A new set of percussion is what I am trying to get. It would mean everything to the students and give them a sense of PRIDE.

The new drum line will cost a total of $8000. Having instruments that do not fall apart as your playing them is an important thing to a high school student. The school needs more spirit and pride in itself. A new drum line would be a great start.

I have an awesome set of percussionists. All they need is a little motivation to put them over the top. Will you be that motivation?
