My Project

We have a growing modern band program that is thriving. More and more students are wanting to be a part of it and we are so thrilled. A popular instrument that students want to play is the drum set! our classroom has two and we typically have 15-20 students per class.

This project will help us to have a way to have more students able to practice drumming skills before they have their turn on the drum set!

Right now students take turns and the students who are not on the drum sets are doing body percussion that imitates a drum set or use bucket drums. The drum set pads would help more students to actively engage in coordination needed when they apply it to the actual drum set!
