This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is expanding hands-on STEM learning through the use of drones, and to support this, we need accessories that ensure our equipment stays safe, organized, and ready for action. The items I’m requesting—drone carrying cases, propeller guards, extra batteries, and storage solutions—will protect our gear, extend flight time, and help students stay focused on learning rather than worrying about damaged or missing parts.

These drone accessories may seem like small additions, but they play a big role in supporting student success.

With your support, we can keep our equipment safe and our students flying high!

With this project, my goal is to create a more professional, real-world environment where students can explore drone technology with confidence. By securely storing and transporting our drones, students will have more opportunities to take their learning outside the classroom and into the field. The propeller guards will minimize damage during flight practice, helping students learn from mistakes without costly setbacks. Extra batteries will allow for longer practice sessions, encouraging deeper understanding of flight dynamics, safety protocols, and drone operation.

What makes my students special is their eagerness to learn by doing. They are curious, creative, and constantly pushing themselves to master new tools and technologies. Many are exploring career pathways in engineering, robotics, and technology for the first time, and our drone program offers a chance to build real-world skills in a fun and engaging way. For some, this is the first time they’ve had access to high-tech equipment—and they take that opportunity seriously.
