My Project
Our students love learning and practicing being parents. We need new clothes for our babies and some for our dress up area. Dramatic play adds a dimension to our classroom learning environment that helps keep students engaged and learning in ways that make our classroom shine.
We are so happy to have the materials our students use and look forward to updating some materials that will make our classroom seem brand new.
Having a sensory wall and using velco to orgainize materials in our space make it an inviting and engaging space. When students are able to easily return items to their assigned space, it's easier for them to find and learn with materials.
By adding voice prompts to some areas in our classroom, we can record things in English, Spanish, Somali, and Arabic so that each child understands the directions for the materials. This is another way we can keep students engaged and be sure they are learning in both English and their native language.
