Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students would greatly benefit from additional clothing items that can help boost their self-esteem. Many of them feel insecure about their appearance, and unfortunately, not all parents have the means to provide adequate clothing.

To address this issue, I would like to request dresses for special occasions for the girls, as well as some hair bows.

Additionally, it would be helpful for all students to have t-shirts for school events. These events play a crucial role in building a sense of community, and it is heartbreaking to see students feel left out simply because they lack the required clothing or don't have the desired colors or designs.

I believe providing these items would have a significant positive impact on my students' self-confidence and overall well-being. I sincerely appreciate any support you can offer.
