Help me give my students some sensory items when they come into my office and also some treats to reward them. I am a social worker at a school and I work with 6-8 graders.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a social worker at a school and I work mainly with the 6-8 graders, but I do occasionally work with the younger kids. I have individual and group sessions and the conversation cubes can help the new students as this can be used as ice breakers to help them get comfortable. I pride myself in being a space that the students can come to and feel safe and comfortable.
Many times students come into my office and need some time to refocus and center themselves.
My students would benefit from the sensory items in my cart to help them regulate and be able to return to class. One of theatre teachers has one piece of sensory items and I had it in my office and my students loved it for that day, and I think they will benefit from being able to use it regularly.
