My Project

Kindergarten is the year of exploration. It is the stepping stone for every child as they enter school for the first time. Many of the resources I have added to my list we will be using daily. This is the time when students learn how to properly use materials such as pencils and glue sticks ( and boy do we go through a lot of them).

This is also the time when students begin learning about their social-emotional well-being.

The books selected help target and provide examples of what students might face during the school year. In addition to books sensory items have been added so each child can have the opportunity to learn what resources are helpful to make their day successful for learning.

As we are adapting a new curriculum many new items such as colored paper and chart paper will be needed to ensure fidelity with teaching.

Please know that any items donated will be used and are very helpful. I can’t say my class is any different from the next class that needs materials. As teachers, we do our best to provide everything we can for our students so that they may have the most enriched learning experience. As long as you choose to donate to one classroom you are making an impact and spreading positivity in the learning community.
