My Students

My school is a melting pot of cultures. We have students from Korea, China, Africa, Mexico, Japan, the Philippines, and the Middle East; just to name a few. This causes many challenges for me as their teacher. Students everywhere need lots of hands-on activities to get them engaged, excited, and help them learn, even if they don't know the language. My class is no exception. My students are 7 and 8 years old and enjoy learning by doing.

Each year, it is more challenging to get students eager to learn to read, and enjoy science and math.

Many students come to school with a poor or negative experience in these subjects. It's time to change that and get them involved in meaningful activities that help them change and leave my class with a "positive attitude."

Students want to learn and by giving them the tools to use in the classroom they will be more confident and achieve greater things. These tools will help bridge the gap between learning and language. Thus, inspiring them to work hard and learn by doing. They are our future and we need to invest in them now, while they are accepting and eager to explore.

My Project

Students are so excited to learn new things. Each day is another chance for me to expose students to amazing, fun technologies. Hands-on experiences will help students retain newly learned information and 3D pens are the right tools for them to use.

My students need 3D pens to help make chapter books, social studies, and science come to life.

By using 3D pens, the students can create characters and artifacts that they are studying. This is a unique way to help children learn.

Learning should be fun, interactive, and memorable. I believe in hands-on learning to engage all students. Teachers are still an effective way to engage and encourage students to--- learn by doing! Everyone needs to find a way to make a positive difference in a child's life. Today is the day!
