My Project

We will be creating dream boards that are shaped like their silhouettes. The project is amazing for their mental health. Seniors struggle with seeing a successful future; this helps them see their future in color every day they walk by the room. Each student gets a silhouette of their face. Next, they cut out magazine clippings that represent what they want their future to look like. Unfortunately, in the past couple of years, getting magazines has not been easy, and when we do get them, they don't have the pictures the students are looking for. If this project gets funded, the students will have exactly what they need. It will build their self-esteem and give them something to dream about. They will see a future they can believe in. Dream boards are proven to be great mental tools for success. This is exactly what our seniors need. As the students see their success becoming a reality, they become stronger members of their community. Their success leads to the success of their town. Every time a student reaches their goal, the town benefits. They come back to their community and help serve the needs of others by becoming exactly what they dreamed about.
