My Project

My students are inquisitive, engaged scholars from all over the world. More than half are English Language Learners, many have special needs, and most are from low-income households. Our curriculum is rigorous, and requires lots of initiative and hard work from our students. As we ask so much from them, it is important that we provide them with the necessary tools to rise to the task!

After years in a temporary building, we are lucky to be in a beautiful new art room but have no budget for materials!

I am asking for basic art class supplies like paper, colored pencils, and glue sticks. I am also asking for a few paint colors, palette paper, and some printmaking supplies to flesh out what we have left over from last year. We also need canvases and brushes for advanced painting. Our seniors specifically requested Posca markers for their independent IB Art projects.

My students are curious, thoughtful, funny, and kind. They do their part every day to be present as learners, and they deserve the materials needed to explore their creativity.
