This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

E. V. High School is an alternative high school and some/most students who attend need extra help in their math classes. They are not taking traditional courses and are learning math online in PEAK math courses.

Students can be more successful if they are taught how to use graphing calculators as early as possible.

It would make my job easier if I had enough calculators for my entire class. I only have 10 TI - 83/84 ( my personal graphing calculators courtesy of the Goodwill ) and I have 18 students.
