My Project
This past spring our school was fortunate enough to have author and illustrator Peter Brown visit our school. One of the things Peter talked about with my students was how much he had enjoyed checking out "How to Draw" books from his school library, and how he had used them to practice and hone his drawing skills.
Having a collection of drawing books would build upon what students learned from visiting author and illustrator Peter Brown, and would inspire them to express their own creative sides.
Drawing would also help them with fine motor skills development as well as provide a creative outlet to help to relieve stress and enrich classroom learning.
