Drawing Art Center Extension with Flexible and Comfortable Seating

Help me give my students flexible seating for our "Choice-Based Art Centers." This would extend our drawing center and offer our students a flexible and comfortable seating while drawing their choice/level of interest viewed on the Promethean Board.

My Project

I love that all of our students have various levels and interests in drawing. They are all unique and special in their own ways and come from various backgrounds and cultures.

This carpet will allow the students to have comfortable and flexible seating close to the Promethean Board.

In our extended drawing area, the students get to choose a drawing tutorial that best fits the needs of the small group that has chosen to follow a tutorial for that particular class and work together to make sure everyone is successful by pausing the video as needed. The tutorial is, of course, approved by the teacher first, and a student is given the leadership role of pausing the video when necessary, which allows me to check in with the various choice-based art centers (drawing, painting, collage, etc) throughout the class.

The Requested Project Supplies:

The rug will allow the students to be off of the cold floor. The pillows will allow the students flexibility and comfort while drawing. Students can sit on a colorful pillow, place one under their chest area if lying down to draw or use it on their lap under their clipboards. The colorful clipboards will allow for a hard, smooth surface to draw on.
