My Students

Out in the countryside of beautiful Montana, where our closest neighbors are herds of cattle, you will find a very energetic group of seventh grade students. They crave movement, innovative learning, and discussion.

They are wonderful kids, who love interactive and kinesthetic learning.

These students teach me new things everyday and inspire me to find new and exciting ways to teach them. Your donations will help ensure each of my students gets what they need to be successful learners. Thank you!

My Project

A DrawBot is a motorized contraption, built by students, that moves in interesting ways and leaves marks to create abstract art. Students will build motorized contraptions from a mixture of simple, recycled, and new supplies that cause them to move and draw.

Combining robotics and art, how fun does that sound?

By integrating science, technology, engineering, art, and math, I will be creating a space for students to play, experiment, and investigate new concepts. They will be able to rebuild and redesign their project to be able to create a working machine to create patterns and designs that are aesthetically appealing. This STEAM project is a great way to engage students in a variety of subject areas.
