Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our little ones love to do workstations, and we are in need of a kitchen set for our dramatic play center. The dramatic play center will help develop and establish oral and social skills while at play. Our students learn through play, and our bilingual class benefits from orally speaking their first language and practicing their second language with each other.

This kitchen set will give our little ones the opportunity to develop and/or practice role-playing activities using hands-on, creative dramatic skills, social interactive skills, fine motor skills, and language.

Our students are quick to grasp oral vocabulary when playing with their little classmates: I hear them speak while they independently play through imagination.
