My Students

My students are so full of kindness. I love to teach them independence and friendship skills. We also practice problem solving so they can be advocates for their peers in the future. While we follow a curriculum, I also tune into their interests and investigate questions they may have about the world.

My Project

Our Dramatic Play Center is more than just house keeping. It can be a vet clinic, doctor's office, hair/nail salon, restaurant, etc. My goal is to be able to rotate through different themes.

By donating to this project, I'll have the resources to be able to represent several different cultures and types of restaurants for my students to play and experience.

I want my students to be able to represent their own home life in addition to unfamiliar ways of cooking and living. Providing them with this exposure will give them the opportunity to learn about the world around them.
