Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class has a wide range of abilities and each student has different needs to be addressed. I want to be able to provide more interactions during storytime for my non-verbal students as well as more manipulatives. I also would like to provide my students with more sensory items.

They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even though they don't know it yet.

They are the future, and I want to give them the best start I can in school.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers has some fantastic resources for our class to put together great props for our dramatic play area. We have the ability to change our dramatic play area from a kitchen to an ice skating rink to a flower shop and even a restaurant. It would not be complete without adaptive books, signs and other fun materials.

These materials will help to continue to create a print-rich environment in our classroom.

By having downloaded materials, if something were to get lost or damaged, we are able to easily replace them.
