Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I with work creative, wonderful Pre-K children in a high-need community. The children love to visit our dramatic play area on a daily basis where they practice life skills, as well as social skills.

Unfortunately, many things have broken this year. We had a storage box and a doll bed that has broken. We really need dolls and doll clothes. The children sit their doll on a student chair and can't see it, which is why I'm asking for a pretend high chair. The food I am asking for have numbers and fractions on it, which allows them to learn math skills while playing. I'm also asking for clipboards and small, wipe-off graphs which will allow the children to play school and also practice math skills.

Our class needs storage furniture for our dramatic play area, educational toys, dolls and doll clothes, a new doll bed and high chair. These materials will allow the children to explore their creativity, use their imagination, socialize, and learn important concepts while playing in our dramatic play area.

You help will ensure that my students will have a dramatic play area that meets all of their needs. The children love playing there and they will be so excited to see new materials and replacements of our old broken materials. You will certainly put smiles on our children's faces and help them learn so much more by donating to our classroom. Thank you in advance for any help you can give!
