My Students

I have the pleasure of teaching 18 of the sweetest 4 and 5 yearolds in Pre-K. Our school is a Title I school on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC. Several of my students have special learning needs, and most have challenges making ends meet at home. But, they all come to school ready to learn and love every minute of it.

My students are very inquisitive and love to learn and interact with a variety of materials.

My goal is to provide my young students with an array of learning experiences by providing interesting and engaging materials and supplies

My Project

Dramatic play is pretending or making believe. Dramatic play is the activity in which children practice the most language skills in the classroom and develop their social skills.

Children who are successful in such play have a good chance for success in school because of their language and social skills, both of which are very important throughout the school years.

Dress-up clothes enhance children's dramatic play by allowing them to wear different things for different roles they might play. We also need a set of dishes to learn how to set the table. Please help my students become successful with their social skills through dramatic play.
