My Project

In my high school English and Drama classes, students are encouraged to be creative and to explore new things, engaging in writing, art, and multimedia projects. My students come from low-income backgrounds, but artistic creativity is the same no matter what your finances look like. Printers, staplers, laminators, and markers galore will help my students to continue their artistic endeavors, especially with drama signs and programs, set design, and English projects.

With Drama, creating posters for the stage as well as printing off graphic design items like programs gives students the chance to express themselves while bringing more community support to the arts, while art-related assignments in the English classroom bring high interest lessons to all students.
