My Students

I am lucky to teach Pre-K with3, 4 and 5-year olds! I work in a Title I school in Richmond, Va. My students are amazing!

I want my students to see themselves as explorers and creative thinkers!

This project is focused on giving them the tools they will benefit from in a virtual setting.

My Project

During a virtual school year there, books and the stories within them are a wonderful way to connect to the world around us. Not only do all the studies show how critical and hearing stories are to phonological development. But, sharing stories is one of the best ways to create positive connections to reading and to each other. Students who are excited about books which play with language and entice with illustrations become life long readers!

These books will help introduce my students to multiple perspectives and flights of imagination!
