My Students
My students come from diverse backgrounds and are motivated to learn. We are fortunate to have many students that are born leaders and use our school community as their forum for peace and kindness. These special students strive each day to do their best, by spreading the message of the Conflict Resolution program around our school community!
These students are highly motivated self-starters that just need the tools for success!
My students come from various ethnic backgrounds giving us the opportunity to discuss their cultures and use those discussions to promote a community accepting of others. They are the future presidents and kindness ambassadors of the world!
My Project
Through the use of our new yoga set, we are looking to relieve stress and anxiety, post remote learning, by creating a yoga program for our youngest learners. Students will learn meditation and breathing techniques to work through challenging experiences in their lives while building upon their social emotional learning. Students will develop lifelong skills that can be applied to any life experience. Some of our learners will be entering school for the first time and will be facing separation anxiety, fear of COVID, and meeting strangers with masks on. The program will follow social distancing guidelines and take place outdoors where the setting will enhance the goal of the program.
