My Students

My students are a diverse group of at-home, first grade, learners. They love fun and engaging books that represent them and their interests. They are excited by learning about animals, reading about their favorite characters, and seeing one another on Google Meets!

My Project

Learning from home is challenging and can be distracting. Waiting for your teacher to see you and ensure all materials can be shared is a hassle that my class goes through several times a day.

Two screens means I can see my students and communicate directly with them without having to connect several devices, worry about microphone interference, and make sure I disconnect my speakers.

This may seem like a simple change, but it will really impact the quality of my connection with my students and limit the need for extra devices that take up the bandwidth in-person students need to learn with technology.
