My Project

Heggerty Phonemic Awareness online will provide remediation to all of my early learners to help improve phonemic awareness. This online tool also has professional development embedded to the teaching of phonemic awareness.

Heggerty is the #1 choice for daily phonemic awareness instruction for more than 20 years.

Heggerty has online videos the students follow along with. This allows me to watch students to see what areas they need more practice in or have mastered. It also gives me tools and idea to remediate through the professional development component. I have used these online resources for the past few years and it has been successful for my students. In order for students to access the lessons, they sometimes need headphones and connectors for their district issued iPads.

Phonemic awareness is the first step to becoming successful readers. We will use this every day to become great readers!
