Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dot journals are a new outlet that I would like my students to experience this year in Advisory class as a way for them to express themselves, jot down and track goals, and create bucket lists for themselves amongst many other things (the options are endless). I plan to teach them the art of what dot journaling is, how it can be helpful and effective for them, and how it can be fun. These notebooks will help to get them started as they are of lower income backgrounds and they are not provided by the school. As 8th graders I believe that it is important for them to learn skills to help them as they move forward to high school.
