My Students

My students are ready to wonder about technology with Wonder Workshop Dash and Dot robots!

My students are hardworking and love school.

They are collaborative and work well in a group. They love hands-on and project based work. My students also love computers and all new technology. It's wonderful to get a computer in their hands to see what they can do!

My Project

I am requesting the Wonder Workshop Dash and Dot robots to explore mathematical concepts through play and discovery, and to teach my students the basics of computer programming with robotics. The Dash and Dot robots use software which will aide in my students learning about programming and engineering skills. The skills in technology to play and explore with these robots will also help to build STEM foundations for my students. They will be able to learn about programming, technology, robotics and engineering by combining electronics with the power of code. An iPad will be used to control the robots during play. An application used on the iPad will allow students to build projects working interactively with them in class.

This project will help my students learn how to problem solve with their peers!

While working in groups, students will have the opportunity to control these robots. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics all play a large part in our future. I hope my students will learn skills that can help guide their future careers!
