My Students

My students are a great group of students who are filled with a lot of energy. My students are a mixture of Brooklyn natives and recent immigrants to the country. While my students come from a diverse background there are many commonalities that bring them together. Many of my students will be the first in their families to graduate high school and attend college.

My Project

This year I have a student that will be the first person in her family to attend college. She stands out as a student who fulfills the definition of perseverance. She is amazingly bright and hardworking.

I would like to support her in her journey to college by alleviating some stress by purchasing items for her dorm room.

These items will support my student in creating a warm welcoming space to rest and study in. She deserves a beautiful home away from home. With items that all college students deserve to start their first year off right!
