Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Salutatorian is heading to SUNY Binghamton University in 9 weeks and we are helping her get items to make this next chapter possible. We have seen our Seniors more hesitate to take the leap of faith and go away to college. We know the effects of Covid during their high school years will be everlasting and we want them to move forward and follow their dreams by supplying them items to help jump-start college life.

Dorm life wish list gives support and encouragement in a way they need now more than ever.

We have only 5 students out of 80 Taking the LEAP of faith to go to an away college school. Economic struggles are the leading reason why students have chosen to remain home this school year 2022-2023. We would like to support and send care packages to them as they settle into the college dorm life.
