Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Since COVID hit last year it has really impacted their learning. Many students are low in reading and struggle with spelling, comprehension and basic mathematics. I want to make sure that each of them have equal opportunity to grow and reach grade level material.

My Project

As a double dose teacher one of the things I have noticed particularly this year is the kiddos struggle with reading and multiplication. I want to make sure that I am able to teach them the basics in a variety of ways not only to keep them interested but to make sure that if they do not understand it one way, I can show it to them in another way. I want to make sure that hey can go into 5th grade, knowing exactly how to solve the problem and getting the right answer in more than one particular way.
