This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am lucky enough to teach an awesome group of middle school students who are creative, eager, and enthusiastic. They are always interested in learning more about a topic and constantly challenge me to be on my toes. I want to teach my kids the required subject matter, but I also want to teach them to be themselves, have fun learning and to love reading! Thank you for joining us on our journey. They are very eager to learn more about our country and are amazed by its interesting and sometimes unbelievable history. I love sharing this great story with them, the problem is the incredibly boring textbook we have...yawn! W don't use it much, but my students need to have a book for reference. That's where our request comes in....
I want to provide my students with a fun, interesting and easy-to-read book that will bring the amazing story of our country to life, Don't Know Much About American History is that book!
A fun and interesting read, Don't Know Much About History, will be a great reference for all of my students, from the gifted to the diverse learners. We will use it to learn more about well-known and not so well-known events in our great history. It will make these events come alive .
The history of our country is an unbelievable and inspiring story that I want to share with my student this year and for many years to come.
