My Students

Our classroom is designed to support students not only academically but also socially and emotionally. It is a safe inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and listened to.

My students are a combination of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Nest Students and General Education Students.

Together, they learn to navigate the social world around them while fulfilling their academic requirements.

My students learn to advocate for themselves through the Nest program and all the supports that go along with the program.

My Project

Reading is as much a social activity as it is an academic one. When you read a book or an article that you find interesting the first thing you want to do is share it with others. You want to discuss it and find other books that spark your imagination as well.

When you read a good book you can journey anywhere in the world and beyond!

My students need five Kindle Fires to read not only assigned level readers that will strengthen their reading abilities but preferred interest books that help them navigate the social world with their general education peers.
