My Students

I teach Physical Setting/Chemistry course at an urban, inner-city performing arts high school. Every day, I strive to teach not only the required curriculum but the real-world connections and data needed to fully explain these science subjects to artistically inclined students. My goal is not just to have my students excel in the classroom but to develop into knowledgeable citizens ready to make an influential impact on the world.

My Project

My students need classroom supplies such as napkins and disinfecting wipes to protect them from various diseases. They need pens, pencils, label makers, and magnets along with other classroom supplies. The magnets will be used to represent protons, electrons, and neutrons.

With your generous donations, my students can use magnets to demonstrate atomic structures of elements and molecules.

They will have a chemistry class which is not based on traditional lectures. My students can use these listed materials to enhance their learning experience. They can use the Athlete Set of 12- Scrimmage for their upcoming PSAL league. Your donation will help my students to excel inside and outside of my classroom.
