My Project

Each month at our school, students in grades PK through 5 get the opportunity to shop in the “Dolphin Store” (a token economy/PBIS project). Students earn Dolphin Dollars by exhibiting positive behaviors and attitudes, following school expectations, and completing assignments.

The School Counselors raise funds to keep fun, educational, and exciting items available to our students to purchase with the Dolphin Dollars they earn.

Donors Choose is one way we can keep the store stocked with items the students want to work for.

Another learning benefit of a token economy is that students can learn to save their ‘money’ and purchase a ‘big’ item. For this project I have requested some ‘bigger’ toys and games for this purpose.
