Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items that I am requesting will help our students learn financial literacy while managing their own "money!" Our school has developed this wonderful school wide incentive program where our students earn "Carter Cash" throughout the day for varies reasons, such as, trying hard, participating, going above and beyond, doing a kind deed, meeting goals, improving, helping out their peers, and so on. With this program our students see that doing the right thing pays off...literally.

Our whole school community is participating in this program, as students can get "Carter Cash" from anyone who sees them doing positive things.

Wile students are earning "Carter Cash" they are also learning how to manage their money. They are responsible for holding on to it, counting it, and saving up for somethings they want.

Students visit the store on certain periods throughout the day, that is run by the older students. The older students price and display the merchandise that is strictly donations at this point. Please help us continue this wonderful program.
