Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My entire 1st grade class has achieved the joy for reading this school year and are ready to venture off to 2nd grade. I would love to send them home with a wonderful entertaining Graphic novel such as Dog Man!

Their interest in graphic novels has allowed them to build their fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.

It has been an inspiration to watch my emergent readers become independent readers this school year. Let’s end the year with a BAM! These graphic novels will do exactly that. Dog Man series will be an engaging series to read while at home this summer.
