Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My beautiful students are amazing. They teach me every day how to face various individual challenges that appear in our classroom. We have lots of centers and so much happening in each of the centers throughout the day.

In PreK we are learning every day, we learn about ourselves, our community, our world and how to be leaders in our global community.

There is so much to learn in this incredible world of ours and we begin within the walls of our PreK classroom, we call ourselves a "classroom family". Here we not only learn about who we are and how to push ourselves, we also learn about each other and how to support each other as a classroom family.

My Project

We are thematic based centers and the best gift for our children would be the latest iPad which will showcase our experiences in PreK. We would also be able to share our experiences through the iPad with many projects, including showcasing them to our parents as well as the whole school, as well as our community. I will be ale to authentically capture students as they pretend to be community helpers in our dramatic play center, race various types of vehicles in our block centers, capture sink and float in our water centers, and show how we put together a terrarium in our science center, and share how in our light unit we played with our shadows.

Our classroom family and how we have built it throughout our year in PreK will be showcased to our most important audience, our parents.

In addition, the LEGO materials would enhance our LEGO centers as we learn about the community.
