Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love to document their learning in a variety of ways! During science experiments, they love to draw pictures document their observations, and determine the potential outcomes. They love to draw their comparisons and talk about it. We are in need of more science journals for our students to continue their love of science experiments. Additionally, I would love to incorporate journals in a variety of spaces in our classroom to encourage students to express themselves. A feelings journal would be a great way for students to express their emotional needs. A writing journal would be a great way for students to draw about their favorite stories! Lastly, we would love to add some foam shapes and punchers to decorate each page they draw in. These materials would be amazing for our classroom!
